MinVolt Courier App — Terms of Use

Effective date: 2026-05-09

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the MinVolt Courier web application, installable Progressive Web App (“PWA”), related APIs, operator tools, and associated services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Authorized Use

The Services are intended only for:

  • authorized couriers,
  • employees,
  • contractors,
  • operational partners,
  • and other personnel approved by MinVolt.

You may use the Services only for legitimate operational and business-related purposes authorized by MinVolt.

You must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and operational policies while using the Services.

2. Service Description

The Services may include:

  • courier account management,
  • operational dashboards,
  • assigned bike and battery information,
  • debt, tariff, and payment-related information,
  • station and battery swap locations,
  • notifications and support tools,
  • CMS/operator functionality,
  • asset and inventory management,
  • and related operational features.

Features may vary by user role, region, browser, or device.

3. Account Access and Authentication

3.1 Authentication

Authentication may require:

  • phone number verification,
  • one-time passwords (“OTP”),
  • SMS verification,
  • device/browser session validation,
  • and additional security checks configured by MinVolt.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the security of your device,
  • protecting verification codes and session credentials,
  • and preventing unauthorized access to your account.

You must not:

  • share accounts or verification codes,
  • impersonate another person,
  • or attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.

3.3 Session Management

The Services may use browser storage, secure tokens, cookies, or similar technologies to maintain authenticated sessions.

MinVolt may revoke sessions or require re-authentication at any time for security or operational reasons.

4. Permissions and Device Features

Depending on functionality, the Services may request access to:

  • notifications,
  • push notifications,
  • geolocation,
  • camera,
  • microphone,
  • and browser/device storage.

If permissions are denied or revoked, some functionality may become unavailable.

4.1 Geolocation

Location access may be used for:

  • operational workflows,
  • nearby station discovery,
  • map functionality,
  • and service-related UX improvements.

4.2 Camera and Microphone

Camera or microphone access may be used for:

  • profile photo capture,
  • QR/barcode scanning,
  • audio-code scanning,
  • operational verification flows,
  • or other approved operational functionality.

Audio scanning features may process audio locally in the browser where technically applicable.

5. Acceptable Use Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • misuse the Services,
  • interfere with infrastructure or security,
  • reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code,
  • use bots, scripts, or automated abuse tools,
  • bypass rate limits or authentication controls,
  • upload malicious software or harmful content,
  • scrape unauthorized data,
  • or use the Services in violation of law.

You also agree not to:

  • access information not intended for you,
  • interfere with other users,
  • or disrupt operational workflows.

6. Third-Party Services and Integrations

The Services may integrate with third-party providers, including:

  • SMS and messaging providers,
  • mapping and tile providers,
  • push notification infrastructure,
  • cloud hosting providers,
  • authentication and anti-abuse systems,
  • support platforms,
  • payment processors,
  • and external communication channels.

Examples may include:

  • Twilio,
  • Google reCAPTCHA,
  • Google Maps or satellite tiles,
  • browser push services,
  • WhatsApp,
  • Telegram,
  • Supabase,
  • and Hetzner infrastructure.

Your use of third-party services may also be governed by those providers’ terms and privacy policies.

MinVolt is not responsible for third-party platforms, websites, outages, or policies.

7. Availability and Operational Changes

The Services are provided on a continuously evolving basis.

MinVolt may:

  • modify features,
  • restrict functionality,
  • introduce operational limitations,
  • suspend access,
  • perform maintenance,
  • or discontinue parts of the Services at any time without prior notice.

Availability may be affected by:

  • maintenance,
  • internet connectivity,
  • browser limitations,
  • infrastructure outages,
  • or third-party provider failures.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Services, including:

  • software,
  • APIs,
  • designs,
  • interfaces,
  • trademarks,
  • branding,
  • content,
  • and operational systems,
  • remain the property of MinVolt or its licensors.

Subject to these Terms, MinVolt grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services solely for authorized operational purposes.

No ownership rights are transferred to you.

9. Suspension and Termination

MinVolt may suspend, restrict, or terminate access immediately if:

  • your authorization status changes,
  • operational cooperation ends,
  • security concerns arise,
  • abuse is detected,
  • debts or operational restrictions apply,
  • or these Terms are violated.

Operational restrictions may include:

  • feature limitations,
  • speed restrictions,
  • temporary blocks,
  • account review procedures,
  • or full account suspension.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MinVolt disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including:

  • merchantability,
  • fitness for a particular purpose,
  • non-infringement,
  • uninterrupted availability,
  • accuracy,
  • and error-free operation.

MinVolt does not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted service,
  • real-time availability,
  • precise map accuracy,
  • or compatibility with all browsers or devices.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MinVolt shall not be liable for:

  • indirect,
  • incidental,
  • special,
  • consequential,
  • exemplary,
  • or punitive damages,
  • including loss of revenue,
  • loss of profits,
  • operational interruptions,
  • data loss,
  • device issues,
  • or business disruption arising from use of the Services.

MinVolt’s total liability shall not exceed the maximum amount permitted under applicable law.

12. Privacy

Personal data processing is governed by the MinVolt Privacy Policy associated with the Services.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that certain operational, technical, and authentication-related data may be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Compliance and Investigations

MinVolt may:

  • monitor operational and security activity,
  • investigate abuse or unauthorized access,
  • preserve logs and audit records,
  • and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities where required by applicable law.

14. Updates to These Terms

MinVolt may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions may be published:

  • within the Services,
  • through official MinVolt pages,
  • or through operational communication channels.

Continued use of the Services after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
